What is Explorers Camp?
EC…is it for you? Explorers Camp is a week-long camp for 11-17 year-olds. We have a theme for the week which we explore though what is called “Camp Special”. This is the Explorers Camp take on a service. We have worship (led by our worship band), a short talk on the theme, drama, readings and prayer.

There’s plenty of stuff to do on the site as well as loads of other activities e.g. canoeing, a high ropes course, a trip to a theme park (there are plenty of other options if none of these are for you!) and team games like you’ve never seen them before.

At night the energy of camp just will not fade, we have the most bizarre quizzes, worship night with songs you will have never heard before, and probably won’t hear again, as well as familiar favourites, and quiet reflective times for you to look back on the week.

You sleep in tents with friends or (if you’re coming on your own/for the first time) people your age who you’re bound to become friends with! Each day we have a Quiet Time session which is where your tent (with your tent leaders) explores the theme further as a tent. This is a time for discussion and to ask any questions you may have.

EC is set in a Christian atmosphere, but there’s no pressure. Your child is in safe and capable hands so there’s no need to worry - The camp has been running for over 50 years and is growing by the year. Parents, have a week off!
