Pricing
Explorers Camp is part of a charitable organisation held under the auspices of the Methodist Church, and we're not here to make a profit. Whatever money we make goes into making camp better or into our trust fund; The Ken Woodhead Trust. This fund can be used by anyone who would love to come to camp, but whose household income places paying the full cost out of reach. To that end, we work hard to keep our prices minimal, and they work out like this:
£110 per person (11+) Under 11s £55 Under 5s £30
This includes a £20 deposit paid upon submitting a booking form. The remaining balance of £90 is due by the 30th June.
There are also two activity days, which may incur an extra cost, however options and prices won't be confirmed until after booking has closed on 31st May. These activities are your choice and there is always a low cost option (the price of a swim or a game of crazy golf and an ice cream).
Finally, we advise that some spending money is brought for the on site book and tuck shops, as well as buying bits and pieces when we visit places off site. Again, how much is up to you.
